Meet Our Staff

President
and owner of Southeastern Physical Therapy, Jeff received his
B.S. in Chemistry and Biology from Oral Roberts University in
1986. In 1988, he received his Masters in Physical Therapy from
Hahnemann medical School.
Jeff’s
clinical expertise is in the area of industrial rehabilitation
and treatment of orthopedic workers compensation injuries. He
has taught functional capacity evaluation courses and provided
clinical support for the Blankenship Corporation. Jeff holds a
current certification in the Blankenship method for Functional
Capacity Evaluations. Jeff is proficient in the care of neck and
back pain using the McKenzie method.

Khue is the director at the General Booth office of Southeastern Physical Therapy. She received her B.S. PT from Winston Salem State University in 2000.
Khue's specialty areas include orthopedics rehabilitation and spine care.Khue utilizes soft tissue mobilizations, strain/counterstrain technique, and the McKenzie Method. |

Leigh is the lead occupational therapist with Southeastern Physical Therapy’s offsite division. She received her Bachelor’s of Science with emphasis on Community Health Management and Rehabilitation Exercise from Virginia Commonwealth University and her Masters Degree of Occupational Therapy from Texas Woman’s University.
Leigh’s experience in Pediatrics includes a variety of settings including outpatient, early intervention, and in the school system. She is S.I.P.T. Certified through Sensory Integration International and has extensive training in auditory intervention including Hemi-Synch, Advanced Therapeutic Listening, and Level IV SAMONAS. Her passion is in treating children and adults with sensory integration dysfunction. She is also experienced in treating adults and children with neurological disorders, orthopedic conditions, feeding delays, and adaptive equipment needs. |

Cindy is a Physical Therapy Assistant with Southeastern Physical Therapy’s First Colonial Location and Off-site division. She started her education and training with the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman & Physical Therapy Tech. After completing her service in 1994, Cindy received her associates degree from TCC and became a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant.
Cindy specializes in various areas of rehabilitation including orthopedic/ sports injury and neurological disorders. She has experience with MR/MH population, stroke, MS, CP as well as other neurological and MD disorders. She has a strong background in manual therapy utilizing myofascial and trigger point release techniques. Cindy is a strong advocate for the special needs population and believes that everyone is entitled to the best quality of life. She always goes the extra mile to facilitate improved treatment outcomes!

Jodi is the
director of the Kempsville office of Southeastern Physical Therapy.
Jodi received her Bachelors in Science in 1999, a Masters in physical
Therapy in 2000, and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2005 from
the University of Scranton.
Jodi specializes
in pelvic floor therapy, sports/orthopedic rehabilitation 9including
pediatrics) stroke rehabilitation, gait and balance disorders,
as well as utilizing manual therapy to treat general spinal disorders.
Through the pelvic floor program she has treated those diagnosed
with urge and stress urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence,
pelvic pain, pre and post-partum pain and IBS.
Jodi is an
advocate of Evidence based practice and promoting research for
treatment effectiveness and improved patient care. |

Paul is a therapist at the Kempsville office of Southeastern Physical Therapy. Paul received his Bachelors of Science in Exercise Physiology in 2003 from University of California at Davis, followed by his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2007 from Old Dominion University.
Paul specializes in orthopedic evaluation and treatment, focusing on manual therapy and evidence-based practice. He also enjoys working with high school athletes as well as participating in community service programs. |

Eric Jorde joined Southeastern Physical Therapy in July of 2007 and is currently co-directing the Spine Rehab and Aquatic Center and the Chesapeake offices. Eric received his B.S. in Biology from State University of New York (SUNY) at Plattsburgh in 1998. Eric received his Masters in Physical Therapy in 2001 and Doctor in Physical Therapy in 2004 from Shenandoah University. Eric received his certification in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (“McKenzie Method”) in April 2004 and became an American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties certified in Orthopedics in May of 2006. |

Beth is the
director of the offsite division and is a speech-language pathologist
with Southeastern Physical Therapy. Beth received her B.S. in
speech-language pathology and audiology in 1997, and her M.S.
in speech-language pathology in 1999 from Old Dominion University.
Beth works
with patients who have difficulty with speech, language, voice,
and cognitive function, as well as, patients who have oral-motor
feeding difficulties. She has a wide range of experience with
both the pediatric and adult population including those with oral
aversion, articulation disorders, and communication disorders
resulting from stroke, brain injury, and dementia.

Nichole is the director of the Norfolk location of Southeastern Physical Therapy. After graduating from Villa Julie College with a B.S. in Biology, she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Old Dominion University.
Nichole completed the majority of her clinical education treating neurological disorders, including spinal cord injuries. At the Norfolk clinic, she specializes in orthopedic physical therapy and the
rehabilitation of sport related injuries. Nichole also has experience
in the treatment of strokes and amputees.

Eric W Mack is a licensed physical therapist assistant. He went to school in the state new york at OCC and received an associate degree in physical therapy graduating in 2004.
Eric enjoys working with sport and orthopedic injuries specializing in a variety of orthopedic injuries including knee, ankle ,shoulder, cervical and chronic low back pain. Eric has also worked in acute care for joint replacement and nursing homes.

Denise is
a therapist assistant at the General Booth location of Southeastern
Physical Therapy. She received her Associates in Applied Science
from Tidewater Community College in 1992. Denise specializes
in sport injury rehabilitation, and post surgical rehabilitation
for the shoulder, knee, ankle, back, and neck. She utilizes the
McKenzie method in her spine rehabilitation and has worked with
chronic pain patients. She is proficient with soft tissue mobilizations
using myofascial release, trigger point and counter strain techniques.

Tammy is the
director at the Great Neck office of Southeastern Physical Therapy.
Tammy received her B.S. in Sports Medicine and Master of Physical
Therapy from Old Dominion University.
Tammy specializes
in post-operative rehabilitation, sports related injuries, and
workers compensation, as well as neck and back rehabilitation
utilizing the McKenzie method as a diagnostic and treatment tool.
In addition to McKenzie training, she uses manual therapy including
myofascial release, Maitland’s techniques, and joint mobilization
for the treatment of a variety of injuries.

Rachel is a Physical Therapy Assistant at the Kempsville location of Southeastern Physical Therapy. She received her Associates in Applied Science from Tidewater Community College in 2007. She plans to continue her education at Old Dominion University to receive her Bachelors in Exercise Science and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Rachel specializes in sport injuries and post surgical rehabilitation for the knee, shoulder, ankle, and neck. |

Lori absolutely loves her profession of Physical Therapy. She has been practicing since 2000. She has practiced in acute care, outpatient orthopedics, and skilled nursing facilities. Her favorite by far is outpatient ortho. She currently works at the Spine and Aquatic Center in Chesapeake. Lori specializes in spine care, manual therapy, myofascial release and a wide range of therapeutic exercise for all ages. Lori graduated from Hofstra University on Long Island in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts in Natural Science, and from MCP Hahnemann University in Philadelphia with a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy. |

Randy is a
speech-language pathologist with Southeastern Physical Therapy.
Randy received a BA in Business Administration in 1988 and a Masters
in Speech language Pathology in 2004 from Wayne State University.
Randy works
with patients who have difficulty with speech, language, cognition,
memory, and swallowing, as well as patients requiring training
for augmentative communication devices. Randy has experience with
a wide range of adult, pediatric, and multi-cultural populations
including those with communication and swallowing disorders resulting
from stroke, brain injury, development disability, and dementia.
