Manual Rehabilitation

Manual Therapy is a “hands on” approach incorporating techniques that address dysfunctions of all systems of the body including: skeletal/joint system, skeletal muscle, visceral/smooth muscle, circulatory, cardiopulmonary, and nervous system.

Our therapists specialize in many different techniques and depending on the diagnoses, a person may respond more favorably to one over the other.

Some of these treatment techniques may include but not limited to:

  • Myofascial Release or Soft Tissue Release
  • Soft Tissue Mobilization
  • Muscle Energy Technique
  • Joint Mobilizations including Mulligan Techniques
  • Strain/Counter-Strain Technique
  • Neural Tissue Tension Technique
  • PROM/Stretching
  • Trigger Point Release

With our diversity in manual therapy techniques offered by all of our therapists, treatments will allow potential for increased range of motion, improved functional movement, improved spinal symmetry, normalized soft tissue mobility, improved circulation and decreased inflammation and reduction in pain for the acute and chronic pain client.
